Even with the low cropping levels, we ended up with a few extra barrels of Merlot. While most wine critics and reviewers look to Europe for their vision, we look away from Europe, not forgetting our experience for those wines. Washington wines are what we make. but we are well aware of the relationships that this Merlot has to the world.

The 2018 Pollard Merlot is a rich, balanced wine of medium weight framed with a fine tannin structure. Layers of black cherry and plum accented by cedar and sage give it a very savory taste.
