The texture of this wine propels the overall appreciation of the wine.  It fully expresses the characteristics of a true Cabernet Franc. The underlying flavors of forest and fruit skin serve as a potent basis for kitchen herb highlights.  This is all in contrast to the prominent red and blackberry fruit we see in Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varieties.

A versatile food friendly wine that pairs equally well with herb buttered salmon and roast pork.

"The 2019 Cabernet Franc from Pollard Vineyard is a darker, richer, more fruit-loaded wine. Blacker Berries, cherries, tobacco and scorched earth note define the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied, with ripe, building tannins, good mid-palate depth, and outstanding length. It's going to gain elegance with 2-4 years of bottle age and evolve nicely over the following decade. It's another beautiful wine from this winemaker that readers will love. 93 pts" Jeb Dunnuck

"A zesty blend of dried black cherries and currants, baking spice and sweet mint wafts up from the 2019 Cabernet Franc. It's silky in feel, with masses of tart raspberry and peppery herbal tones that communicate wonderful varietal character. Brisk acidity maintains a lovely freshness, as the 2019 finishes remarkably fresh with lightly grippy tannins that linger under an air of rosy florals. 92 pts" Eric Guido
